Fernando Martinez, Owner & Operator of Chaparral Enterprises, has
a background of over 20 years in the landscaping trade, including extensive
field experience constructing & maintaining landscapes.
“I want to give each client a one-of-a-kind landscape that uniquely
welcomes them, while complementing the design of their home.”
He is a licensed C-27 Landscape Contractor, completed educational courses
and titles include “Certified Allan Block Wall Installer”,
“Irrigation Technician” (Ewing Education Services), “Professional
Lighting Systems Design and Installation Specialist”(Vista Professional
Outdoor Lighting) . His education includes San Diego State University,
Southwestern College and Allan Hancock College.
Fernando’s passion for landscapes started at the age of eight,
when he would hike in the native chaparral of Central California, closely
studying it, and learning about the ecosystem. It’s a passion that
continues today, exhibited in his love of plants and his enthusiasm for
creating new works of art in the garden, and fueled by the gratification
that comes with it.
Fitting as it was, his vision became a company that would take the time
to create individual landscapes, effectively involving each client in
the process, and formulate relationships that would last for years to
come.
In January of 2003 Fernando founded Chaparral Enterprises. Now as
a design & construction company Chaparral is committed to building
a word-of-mouth network by delivering landscapes of beauty, functionality
and workmanship, accompanied by the highest level of customer care.
